<p>Job Description</p> <p>Maintenance - St Louis, MO</p> <p>This is an hourly, non-exempt position.</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>Under limited supervision, perform mechanical repairs or fabrication in a safe, effective and efficient manner.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Conducts job tasks with a positive, safe attitude and maintains a safe work record. </li><li>Knowledge of drives, motors, sheaves and general mechanical operations </li><li>Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing machinery </li><li>Maintains a good attendance record </li><li>Work various shift lengths including weekends and holidays </li><li>Maintains good communication with all plant personnel. (Other shifts, departments and managers) </li><li>Ability to understand and perform assigned job tasks easily and independently while flexible enough to work in team settings. </li><li>Maintains good housekeeping and completes sanitation duties and paperwork as required. </li><li>Conducts daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual inspections, reporting any problems noted. </li><li>Willing to be trained to work various jobs within the facility </li><li>Maintain documentation required to perform job duties </li><li>May perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Education/Training:</p> <ul> <li>All required ADM safety, food safety, quality and environmental training </li><li>Participate in company planned operations training </li><li>Equipment training may include but not limited to JLG, forklift, Non-DOT truck, reach lift, etc </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Employee's safety record </li><li>Communications/Interpersonal skills </li><li>Job knowledge </li><li>Positive contribution to team </li><li>Quality of work </li><li>Productivity </li><li>Attendance and Punctuality </li><li>Length of service with ADM (may be considered when other factors are equal) </li><li>Housekeeping and sanitation habits. </li></ul> <p>Special Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Leadership and Organizational skills </li><li>Documentation skills </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>Ambient conditions - Hot or cold Temperatures </li><li>Time Spent: Varies </li><li>Atmosphere: Dust and odor </li><li>Protective clothing required: Uniforms, hardhats, earplugs, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, gloves and safety harness may be required based on task performed </li><li>Job specific PPE </li><li>Work overtime as needed </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Occasionally move objects that weigh up to 55 LBS </li><li>Must be able to sit or stand for prolong periods of time </li><li>Move from area to area </li><li>Transport Material </li><li>Position self to conduct work at various heights </li><li>Rotate body </li><li>Crouch, squat and bend </li><li>Ascend / descend from various levels (climb ladders and stairs) </li><li>Repetitive use of hands </li><li>Use broom, shovel and others tools to complete assignments </li></ul> <p>ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.</p> <p>REF:92991BR</p>
