Our team of experienced professionals tailors all treatment to each unique individual through a variety of personalized care elements, which may include group, individual, and family therapies.</p> <p>Your Job as a Recreation Therapist:</p> <p>The Recreation Therapist plans, coordinates and directs patient participation in selected activities, with the Meadowwood Behavioral Health Hospital setting. Provides treatment services and recreational therapy services using a variety techniques such as games, social activities, art, crafts, dance and movement, drama, sports and music to create an atmosphere of sociability.</p> <p>Your Skills and Qualifications as a Recreation Therapist:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Rec Therapy, or related field required </li><li>Master's degree preferred </li><li>3+ years experience in recreation in a healthcare setting required </li></ul> <p>Licenses/Certifications:</p> <ul> <li>CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) </li></ul> <p>Schedule:</p> <p>This position is for weekend shifts with varying hours based on the needs of the facility, allowing you to enjoy a great work/life balance.
