<p>Overview GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to work on-site in Shady Grove, Pennsylvania, supporting Manitowoc Cranes. This is a possible long-term assignment requiring on-site work Monday through Thursday, with optional remote work on Fridays. Candidates may start any time between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM, ending by 5:00 PM, offering flexibility within that range. This role offers a dynamic and collaborative environment, working closely with key stakeholders to drive business process improvements and systems innovation within a global manufacturing context. Position Overview As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for acting as a liaison between business units and IT, identifying opportunities for system improvements, and driving the full project lifecycle for solutions that support enterprise operations. You will facilitate the gathering and analysis of business requirements, ensure alignment with corporate objectives, and deliver solutions that enhance business performance. This position requires strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills, as well as experience in ERP systems and project management methodologies. Responsibilities Facilitate business process improvement, system development, and application support across manufacturing operations. Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, validate, and communicate business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system designs. Lead end-to-end project lifecycles for medium complexity projects including planning, research, design, testing, implementation, training, and documentation. Design and review test plans and assist in user acceptance testing, defect reporting, and resolution. Support custom and third-party applications involving diverse business technologies. Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls and maintain quality documentation. Participate in peer reviews and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to business personnel in relevant areas. Communicate project status, risks, and change management across stakeholders and leadership teams. Meet or exceed IS Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or MIS, or 13 years of IT experience in lieu of a degree. Minimum of 5 years' experience in Information Technology, with 3 years hands-on experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering, system design, and application support. Experience managing ERP systems such as Baan or e-Emphasys, including complex integrations with external systems. Project management experience using both waterfall and agile methodologies, leading projects exceeding $50,000 in scope. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to stakeholders at all levels. Experience designing and executing QA test plans, as well as supporting user acceptance testing. Preferred Experience Experience with SOX compliance and application-related controls. Exposure to global manufacturing operations, ideally within organizations exceeding $800 million in annual revenue. Strong understanding of workforce analytics and dashboard configuration/management. Proven ability to lead cross-functional meetings and influence stakeholders in a global matrixed organization. Secondary language skills. Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally; valid passport required. Experience with change management, vendor communication, and executive presentation.
