<p>Position Type:</p> <p>Technology</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>12/4/2025</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Haddon Heights Jr./Sr. High School</p> <p>&nbsp&nbspAdditional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>Haddon Heights School District</p> <p>Haddon Heights, NJ</p> <p>Anticipated Opening</p> <p>IT Specialist</p> <p>Full-time 12-Month Position with Medical Benefits</p> <p>Salary $45,000 to $50,000</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>At least one year of experience in computer/Chromebook repair and maintenance in a Windows domain environment</p> <p>Preferred certifications: CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+</p> <p>Must have a valid New Jersey driver's license and insurance card, and a good driving record as demonstrated by a review of the same by the Board of Education's insurance carrier</p> <p>PRIMARY FUNCTION: To ensure seamless operation and support for end-user devices, empowering students and staff to effectively utilize technology in their daily tasks</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Technology Coordinator</p> <p>MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>Acts as the primary point of contact for technical issues related to end-user devices, including Chromebooks, PCs, laptops, and peripherals</p> <p>Assists users with device setup, configuration, and troubleshooting to maximize productivity</p> <p>Performs routine maintenance and updates for devices to ensure optimal performance</p> <p>Repairs and replaces hardware components, such as screens, keyboards, and power supplies, on Chromebooks and other devices</p> <p>Provides on-site technical assistance in classrooms and offices to address immediate issues impacting users</p> <p>Supports device connectivity, ensuring users can access required resources without interruption</p> <p>Maintains user accounts in platforms such as Google Workspace and domain environments, ensuring proper access controls</p> <p>Ensures timely documentation of support requests and resolutions</p> <p>Travels between schools or locations to provide in-person support; reliable transportation is necessary</p> <p>Performs other duties which may be within the scope of their employment and certifications as may be assigned by the superintendent or designee</p> <p>Please submit an application, letter of interest, and resume through the Haddon Heights School District Employment website.
