We are seeking passionate individuals for the role of Regional Nurse Manager (Registered Nurse Manager Medical), so come join our team and make a meaningful impact on youth and the community at DJS!\n\n\n\n\nThe main purpose of the?Regional Nurse Manager?position is to provide leadership and oversight of regional somatic health services within DJS medical clinics. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, continuous nursing care for youth by managing clinical operations, supporting staff development, overseeing fiscal resources, and driving quality assurance and compliance initiatives in collaboration with nursing and medical leadership.\n\n\nKey responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:\n\n\n Delivering exceptional customer service and leading regional medical clinic operations, ensuring continuous, high-quality nursing care\n Providing oversight through site visits, program evaluations, and performance monitoring to drive efficient, effective healthcare services for youth\n Managing and monitoring fiscal resources to support efficient clinic operations and responsible use of funds\n Leading quality assurance efforts, including reporting outcomes and ensuring timely corrective actions\n Supervising RN Supervisors and ensuring accurate data collection, reporting, and service tracking\n Partnering with nursing and medical leadership to maintain procedures and coordinate care for youth with specialized needs\n Supporting the hiring, development, evaluation, and staffing coverage of nursing personnel, including covering shifts as needed to maintain adequate nursing coverage\n Overseeing clinical training, orientation, and compliance with required education programs\n Participating in professional development and supporting departmental initiatives and special projects\n Collaborating with interdisciplinary leadership to advance organizational goals\n\n\n*The schedule for this position may involve working rotating shifts.\n\n\nThis position will involve traveling to multiple site locations within the region as needed.\n</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>\nEducation: A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a health-related field from an accredited college or university.\n\n\nExperience: Four (4) years of experience as a Registered Nurse to include two (2) years in the Medical option?and one (1) year in a supervisory, administrative or consultative capacity.\n\n\nNotes:\n1. Candidates may substitute the possession a Master's degree in Nursing or a health-related field from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse in the Medical option for the required education and experience.\n2. Candidates may substitute six (6) years of experience as a Registered Nurse to include three (3) years in a supervisory, administrative or teaching capacity in the Medical option for the required education and experience requirements.\n3. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Nursing classifications or Nursing and Hospital Administration specialty codes in the Nursing field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience and education.\n\n\n\n</p> <p>DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>\nThe desired candidate for this position will\npossess the following:\n\n\n At least one (1) year of work\n experience coordinating and supervising across multiple secure residential\n juvenile facilities or settings\n Delegating Nurse/Case Manager\n training from the Maryland Board of Nursing\n\n\n\n\n\n</p> <p>LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS</p> <p>\n1. Candidates for positions in this classification must possess a current license as a Registered Nurse from the Maryland State Board of Nursing, 4140 Patterson Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21215 or possess a current multi-state license in party states that candidates have declared as primary states of residence.\n\n\n2. Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of an automobile.
