As a Manager, Specialty Compliance, you will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing our compliance strategies, thus contributing to Walmart's commitment to safety and excellence.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Operate and manage the company's product safety compliance program. </li><li>Provide cross-functional support to teams involved in the compliance program. </li><li>Consult with legal counsel to ensure ongoing compliance with evolving laws. </li><li>Assist in regulatory reporting and updating compliance programs. </li><li>Provide training on product safety regulations and best practices. </li><li>Create and present compliance program metrics. </li><li>Support various compliance activities as needed. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring</p> <ul> <li>Expertise in product safety compliance and related laws (e.g., Consumer Product Safety Act). </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. </li><li>Experience in regulatory reporting and compliance metrics. </li><li>Excellent communication and training skills. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field and 1 year's experience in human resources, ethics and compliance, corporate communications, or related area OR 3 years' experience in human resources, ethics and compliance, corporate communications, or related area.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with the Consumer Product Safety Commission and 15b reporting required </li><li>Experience with UL 62368-1 product safety specification </li><li>Bachelor's degree required, with a degree in engineering, compliance, or law preferred </li><li>4+ years of experience in product safety compliance </li></ul> <p>At Walmart, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet.
