<p>Apply</p> <p>Job Type</p> <p>Full-time</p> <p>Description</p> <p>THE IDEAL CANDIDATE NEED TO BE AN LPN OR A MEDICAL ASSISTANT</p> <p>Summary/Objective: Provide basic medical and nursing care. Ensure the comfort of patients, discuss health care with patients, and report status of patients to registered nurses and providers.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Identifies and evaluates patient needs by way of telephone triage. </li><li>Administers medication including injections; documents medication given or prescribed by ordering physician as required. </li><li>Identifies patient and family education needs and provides instruction. </li><li>Recognizes and responds to emergency situations as appropriate. </li><li>Adheres to the Clinical Services policies and procedures when documenting information patient's medical records </li><li>Facilitates the flow of patients to maintain the integrity of the physician's office. </li><li>Assists the physician with medical office procedures. </li><li>Maintain the integrity of the office. </li><li>Assists with the flow of patients to maintain the integrity of the physician office and assists the physician with medical office procedures as needed. </li><li>Assists with hospital procedures and/or surgeries and coordinates scheduling surgical procedures. </li></ul> <p>Schedule:</p> <ul> <li>Monday- Friday 8:00 am- 4:30 pm </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>LPN Specialist requirements are:</p> <p>Required Education and Experience: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing. Must possess active Florida license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or</p> <p>Preferred Education and Experience: Experience or training in a medical health care facility as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Gyn-Oncology experience preferred.</p> <p>Medical Assistant Specialist Requirements are:</p> <p>Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 1 year of Medical Assistant work experience within the last 2 years. Medical Assistant Certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment. Current BLS certification or to be completed within first 90 days of employment.</p>
