<p>Poste et missions</p> <p>The Application Support Engineer is a vital member of the IT Support US Equity team, providing both operational and project-related support for Sophis Equities. This role focuses on IT topics, projects, and systems utilized globally by the business line, with support primarily during US business hours.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Manage daily application issues and requests from Sophis Equities users. </li><li>Monitor end-of-day processes and batch jobs during office hours. </li><li>Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support; functional support experience is a plus. </li><li>Work morning US IT shifts to ensure the accessibility of Sophis Equities. Shift start times vary weekly at 6:00 AM, 7:00 AM, or 8:00 AM EST. </li><li>Communicate and report issues or problems related to the equity perimeter. </li><li>Develop and maintain tools to enhance end-user service levels and facilitate support tasks. </li><li>Assist Business Analysts in automating recurring requests. </li><li>Perform non-regression testing. </li><li>Ensure the smooth operation of one or more applications from start to finish, including daily monitoring, organizing maintenance work, and implementing upgrades. </li><li>Contribute to the implementation of projects within the corresponding community. </li><li>Plan and deploy new releases in production. </li><li>Provide support for weekend deliveries and target days as needed. </li></ul> <p>The salary range for the Associate position will be between $120,000 - 150,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance.</p> <p>Profil et compétences requises</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.</p> <p>2 to 5 years of experience in an application support role.</p> <p>Excellent application support skills with Sophis Equities.</p> <p>Strong knowledge of the banking IT environment.</p> <p>Ability to work effectively under stress.</p> <p>Strong communication skills.</p> <p>Team player with professionalism, availability, autonomy, and rigor.</p> <p>Proactive approach to incident remediation and continuous improvement/automation.</p> <p>Experience with middleware tools such as Ctrl-M, Zabbix, XLDeploy, Grid Computing (Datasynapse, in-house), and MQ.</p> <p>Proficiency in scripting languages, including Python, PowerShell, and Shell.</p> <p>Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows Server and UNIX.</p> <p>Knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS) including Oracle, SQL Server, and Sybase ASE.</p> <p>Proficient in written and spoken English.</p>
