The products that we offer are unique in design, and some include patented features. Products have been developed and tested in accordance with IEEE, ANSI, and NEMA standards for high voltage equipment. They are primarily used by investor-owned and public electric utilities and large industrial operations in substation, distribution, transmission, and generation applications.</p> <p>All company operations take place in a modern 218,300 sq. ft. multi-site facility situated on 20 acres east of Trafford, PA. The facility houses virtually all resources for product realization, including engineering, supply chain, parts fabrication, electro-mechanical assembly, and testing. Fabrication capabilities include laser and plasma cutting, CNC machining, CNC punching, and automated bending and forming. The company also utilizes specialized processes, such as MIG and TIG welding, friction welding, silver and tin electroplating, and silver brazing.</p> <p>Cleaveland/Price's employee-focused culture plays an important role in being recognized by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette as being a Top Workplace in the Pittsburgh region. The company is driven by the caring people that we employ: the heart and soul of the Cleaveland/Price product line.</p> <p>Your Goal</p> <p>Repair, refurbish, upgrade and maintain production equipment to aid in the improvement of manufacturing processes, production, and output. Production equipment examples are punch presses, press brakes, lathes, mills, forklifts, cranes, etc.</p> <p>Your Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Solves complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control problems. </li><li>Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, and formulas. </li><li>Confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards </li><li>Utilizes technical skill and knowledge to problem solve and assist others. </li><li>Plans work to be perfomed with stakeholders, ensuring improvements are approved by the team and area management prior to implementation. </li><li>Reads and interprets technical documentation such as drawings, service manuals, sketches, electrical diagrams, hydraulic diagrams, etc. </li><li>Rebuilds complex components such as gear drives, pumps, and hydraulic valves. </li><li>Researches technical information and specs. Documents and organizes repair records. </li><li>Researches required parts, parts numbers, materials, and safe installation practices; generates purchase order requests for components. </li><li>Communicates repair plans with all stakeholders in the production process. </li><li>Ensures work practices are compliant with all OSHA and ISO standards. </li><li>Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe work environment. </li><li>Follows all company and job-specific safety rules and regulations. </li><li>Ensures proper utilization of required PPE and task-specific tools and equipment to ensure the highest level of safety for self and others. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Your Background</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree preferred. </li><li>Familiarity with CNC machining/coding. </li><li>Hands on mechanical experience required. </li><li>Experience in an industrial maintenance environment or other related field. </li><li>Prior production and/or manufacturing experience preferred. </li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain certifications related to job-specific requirements (i.e. operating a fork truck, man lift, and/or other related equipment). </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Medium work.
