<p>QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree and Certification in Science (5-8) and/or Elementary (1-6) IH Training from E REPORTS TO: STE Supervisor and Building Principal</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the direction of the STE Supervisor and Building Principal, the OSE Lead teacher shall: Provide leadership with the implementation of the OSE curriculum. Provide support in the progress, efficiency, and quality of curriculum implementation. Collaborate with the Building Principal and STE Supervisor to support teachers with questions and/or concerns. Facilitate PLC meetings and coordinate activities among grade level and/or department teachers as needed. Attend one (1) OSE Conference during the school year. Manage science supply orders for classroom teachers. Work with the Building Principal and STE Supervisor to make specific recommendations regarding OSE program implementation. Meet monthly with the STE Supervisor. Attend meetings outside of the regular work day as required. Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Principal or STE Supervisor . TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT Must be available after the school day Part-time employment</p> <p>SALARY Stipend - $2,200 per school year</p> <p>DATES OF EMPLOYMENT Start Date: Immediately End Date: June 30, 2025</p> <p>EVALUATION Performance on this job will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Westfield School Committee's policy on evaluation.</p> <p>ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Work is generally conducted within school buildings. Ability to travel throughout the school building is necessary. Position involves sitting and the ability to travel from one place to another within the classroom. Work is light in nature with regular lifting of up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds with some pulling and pushing or reaching above, generally of desk and file drawers. Frequent use of hands to operate keyboards and telephones and other office equipment. Regular attendance is an essential function of this job.</p> <p>This position is subject to Grant funding.</p>
