<p>As a Security Officer - Armed - Access Control and Patrol in the Hamburg, PA area, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Full-Time, Armed Security Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by conducting routine patrols throughout the site that you're assigned to. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site. </li><li>Preserve order and enforces rules, regulations, and directives for the viability of the site. </li><li>Maintain proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices and weapons. </li><li>Greet guests and employees, assisting where appropriate; escort visitors and contractors, secure ingress and egress points, secure classified information. </li><li>Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and verbal communication; interact with client and/or other security personnel regarding order execution when appropriate. </li><li>Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms; act as a first responder in emergency situations and provide first aid as necessary. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Act 235 Qualification is required for positions in Pennsylvania only. </li><li>Must have a PA Concealed Carry Weapons permit. </li><li>Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. </li><li>Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Must have 2+ years combined of Armed Security / Law Enforcement / Armed Corrections or the equivalent. </li><li>Must have the ability to Pass a Physical that includes: push-ups, sit-ups and a cardiovascular related stress test. </li><li>Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time. </li><li>As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. </li><li>Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. </li><li>As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. </li><li>Any unpaid, unsettled or disputed Federal Taxes or Federal Loans WILL disqualify. </li><li>Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. </li><li>A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. </li></ul>
