This position provides direct nursing care to residents and delegates and supervises the care provided by our Certified Nursing Assistants/Resident Assistants and Nurses.</p> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILLITIES</p> <ul> <li>Assist in supervising direct nursing care in community. </li><li>Supervises nursing personnel on all shifts. Participants in staffing, scheduling, counseling, orientation, on-call, and evaluation of nursing staff. </li><li>Administers direct nursing care when more than routine care is indicated. </li><li>Makes routine rounds to assure proper care and a safe, clean resident environment. </li><li>Functions as the Director of Nursing in his/her absence. </li><li>Assures accuracy and completeness of medical records, including but not limited to care plans, assessments. </li><li>Notifies physician and family of changes in resident's condition </li><li>Assists DON in developing and implementing policies and procedures. </li><li>Assists in infection control, safety and pharmacy rounds and audits. </li><li>Performs specific work duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor. </li><li>Enjoy one Free Meal per shift! </li></ul> <p>This community embraces a culture of hospitality.
