<p>Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a SAP Solution Architect (QTC). This position can be based at any Eaton site within the continental US.</p> <p>The expected annual salary range for this role is $130000 - $190000 a year.</p> <p>Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.</p> <p>What you'll do:</p> <p>The SAP System Architect - Quote To Cash will be required to be a expert in SAP SD & LE module with exposure to manufacturing processes within a highly integrated and diverse IT landscape. They will collaborate with Agile teams to consider solutions, validate technology assumptions, evaluate alternatives, and converge on a solution. Finally, the System Architect will work closely with Enterprise and Solution Architects to deliver solutions that are aligned to the broader architecture guardrails..</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead and participate in the planning, definition, development, and high-level design of complex product solutions and architectural alternatives </li><li>Enable a continuous delivery pipeline through proper design guidelines </li><li>Define and communicate system interfaces, data structures, data storage, integrations, cybersecurity considerations, test automation concepts, and deployment approaches </li><li>Configure standard business process QTC (Quote To Cash) SAP modules (SD/MM/LE/CS) in both ECC and S/4HANA </li><li>Design business process integration between SAP SD & SAP LE in ECC & S/4HANA </li><li>Establish and communicate critical nonfunctional requirements </li><li>Consider the impact economic boundaries have on design decisions and operate accordingly </li><li>Participate in solution planning, incremental planning, product demos, and inspect and adapt events </li><li>Plan and develop the architectural runway for a product that supports desired business outcomes </li><li>Provide technical oversight and encourage security, quality, and automation </li><li>Effectively negotiate with the business to ensure nonfunctional work (e.g. patching, platform upgrade etc.) is properly prioritized and worked on to reduce the accumulation of technical debt over time. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Required (Basic) Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution </li><li>Minimum 8 years of experience in the software industry within SAP. </li><li>No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of an Eaton site within the continental US will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. </li><li>Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Extensive experience utilizing best practices in SAP ECC and S/4 HANA </li><li>Exceptional SAP QTC functional knowledge across SD/MM, pricing, ATP, CS, logistics, integration experience, basic EDI knowledge. S4 knowledge. </li><li>Working knowledge of EDI </li><li>Exposure to SAP BTP environment </li><li>Extensive experience with SAP APIs, Event Mesh and Kafka. </li><li>Extensive experience working with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban. </li></ul> <p>Skills:</p> <p>Position Criteria:</p> <ul> <li>Advanced verbal and written communication skills including the ability to explain and present technical concepts to all levels of the organization </li><li>Comfortable working directly with both technical and non-technical audiences </li><li>Good judgment, time management, and decision-making skills </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively on a technical team </li><li>Patience and empathy when working with and coaching developers and testers </li><li>Extensive experience working with diverse, global cultures, organizations and teams </li><li>Up to 25% travel required </li></ul> <p>The application window for this position is anticipated to close on 4.6.2026.</p> <p>All positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
