If you're ready to join a company invested in your growth and success, join us as a Transportation Engineer (EIT.)</p> <p>Based in Nashville, you'll have the opportunity to work on exciting and engaging infrastructure projects that will shape the future of transportation in both Nashville and across Tennessee. You'll collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and project managers to identify and evaluate deficiencies on roadway systems, execute solutions that provide a balance between functionality and cost efficiency, all while gaining hands-on experience and mentorship to advance your career.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Collect and analyze data for inclusion in project plans and reports </li><li>Assist with roadway and highway design tasks under the guidance of senior engineers. </li><li>Prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation projects using industry-standard design software packages. </li><li>Perform design calculations in accordance with best engineering practices. </li><li>Support traffic analysis and modeling efforts (Synchro, VISSIM). </li><li>Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with TDOT and federal design standards. </li><li>Participate in internal design reviews and contribute to innovative solutions. </li></ul> <p>Here's what you'll need</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Transportation, Municipal, or Traffic focus preferred) from ABET-accredited University </li><li>2+ years of demonstrated experience with state or municipal DOTs?(internships count toward experience). </li><li>EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months. </li><li>Familiarity with DOT design guidelines and AASHTO standards. </li><li>Strong analytical and time management skills </li><li>Demonstrated written and oral communication skills </li></ul> <p>Ideally, You'll Also Have:</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency with MicroStation and/or Open Roads Designer and a variety of transportation engineering analysis and design software?. </li><li>Experience preparing transportation design documents for public agencies. </li><li>Knowledge of project delivery processes and ability to manage tasks independently. </li></ul> <p>Posted Salary Range: Minimum</p> <p>75,000.00</p> <p>Posted Salary Range: Upper</p> <p>90,000.00</p> <p>Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
