<p>Overall Summary:</p> <p>The Material Handler efficiently delivers materials and supplies using pallet jacks, high lifts, and power jacks.</p> <p>Primary Duties/Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Utilize automated inventory system to locate materials and supplies.</p> </li><li> <p>Document material transactions in the system; complete the material handling section of paperwork for warehouse returns</p> </li><li> <p>Move processed material from workstations to the appropriate staging area.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure the accurate repackaging of leftover materials.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a clean and safe work area; report any safety hazards immediately.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other (or other related) duties as applicable or assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>;</p> <p>Required Skills/Abilities/Competencies:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ability to read and write English; understand oral and written communications and follow directions.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to safely operate power equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Good mathematical skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Team oriented.</p> </li><li> <p>Detail orientated.</p> </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High School Diploma/GED preferred, or commensurate experience relating to the job required.</p> </li><li> <p>Computer and scanner experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Previous experience using floor jacks, pallet jacks, high lifts, and/or power jacks preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Previous participation on a safety team and/or other safety training a plus.</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ability to work 12-hour shifts, rotating 3 or 4 days per week including weekend rotations.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work overtime when needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Standard and non-climate-controlled production environment; exposure to loud noise (PPE is provided).</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to lift, carry and push/pull up to 35 pounds; occasionally up to 65 pounds.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, pivot, crouch, squat, kneel, and stoop for up to 12 hours.</p> </li><li> <p>Upper extremity motion requirements: fine motor movements, pushing/pulling with arms, grasping and pinching.</p> </li><li> <p>Lower extremity motion requirements: reaching.</p> </li></ul>
