<p>We are seeking an experienced Tax and Accounting Manager to lead and oversee our firm's tax and accounting operations. This position is responsible for ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of client services while managing a talented team of professionals. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead and manage employees within the Tax and Accounting departments</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee daily workflow, staff scheduling, and workload assignments</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development</p> </li><li> <p>Review and prepare complex corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns</p> </li><li> <p>Review monthly accounting compilations and reconciliations for key clients</p> </li><li> <p>Direct quarterly tax estimate processes and oversee related systems</p> </li><li> <p>Handle and resolve IRS/state examinations, tax notices, and time-sensitive compliance matters</p> </li><li> <p>Research and respond to questions from management consultants and associates</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate pre-season tax planning and training activities</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient client service delivery</p> </li><li> <p>Manage the 1099 process and year-end corporate closings</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in hiring and staffing decisions for the Accounting and Tax departments</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field</p> </li><li> <p>CPA certification (preferred) or equivalent professional experience</p> </li><li> <p>4-6 years of management experience in tax and accounting</p> </li><li> <p>Strong working knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite</p> </li><li> <p>Exceptional organizational and analytical skills</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent written and verbal communication</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to think critically, make sound decisions, and manage multiple priorities</p> </li></ul> <p>Why Join Us</p> <p>You'll be part of a collaborative and client-focused team that values accuracy, integrity, and continuous improvement.
