<p>AI/ML Research Engineer-Autonomy</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>At Aurora Flight Sciences, we design, build, and fly advanced aircraft and enabling technologies from concept to reality. We are searching for a talented and self-motivated AI/ML Research Engineer-Autonomy to help us create the future of flight. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop and apply cutting-edge AI/ML techniques to address technical challenges in aerospace and defense applications. </li><li>Support the rapid development of innovative demonstrations and prototypes to mature AI/ML-enabled autonomous systems, including modeling, simulation, and integration to real-world vehicles. </li><li>Contribute to applied research and development programs in collaboration with external partners, including MIT and other institutions. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field with 0-2+ years of relevant experience. </li><li>Experience with machine learning algorithms and tools (e.g., PyTorch), artificial intelligence, computer vision, or natural language processing. </li><li>Experience with software development (e.g., Python). </li><li>Must be a US Person (US citizen or permanent resident/Green Card holder). </li></ul> <p>Preferred Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree or equivalent practical experience. </li><li>Experience with robotics or autonomous vehicles. </li><li>Experience with C++. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Occasional travel may be required. </li><li>This is a hybrid position going on-site weekly at our Cambridge, MA, or Manassas, VA offices. Proximity to one of these locations is required. </li></ul> <p>Salary Range (Annualized USD)</p> <ul> <li>Minimum Range: $62,000.00 to $110,000.00 </li><li>Maximum Range: $75,000.00 to $134,000.00 </li></ul>
