<p>Position Description</p> <p>Position Title: Receptionist*</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Superintendent</p> <p>TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 months employment with benefits</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or G.E.D. </li><li>Excellent telephone and communication skills and a focus on customer service. </li><li>Good attendance. </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills with a cheerful, welcoming personality to greet visitors and provide a positive first impression. </li><li>Proficiency in office procedures, data entry, and technology, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and other administrative software. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently. </li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. </li><li>Excellent telephone and communication skills. </li><li>Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion. </li><li>Flexible and willing to assist with various administrative needs. </li><li>Notary Public License </li></ul> <p>JOB GOAL: Ensure the efficient operation of the Education Center by managing front desk responsibilities while providing administrative and technical support.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, answering phones, directing calls, and providing a welcoming and professional presence. </li><li>Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including inter-school correspondence. </li><li>Maintain and update district telephone messages. </li><li>Oversee the organization and maintenance of office equipment, ensuring functionality and troubleshooting minor issues. </li><li>Assist with document preparation, including typing correspondence, reports, and notices. </li><li>Perform data entry tasks in district systems. </li><li>Organize and process flyer distribution requests for students and staff. </li><li>Maintain digital and physical filing systems for office records and reports. </li><li>Coordinate communication between staff and administrative offices as needed. </li><li>Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and other office software to support administrative functions. </li><li>Assist other office personnel with projects and tasks as needed. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent. </li></ul> <p>OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work under time constraints and manage multiple deadlines. </li><li>Frequent use of computers, office equipment, and various software programs. </li><li>Occasional physical activity such as standing, sitting, walking, reaching, and light lifting. </li><li>Potential exposure to sensitive situations, including interactions with students and the public. </li><li>Occasional exposure to blood, bodily fluids and tissue. </li></ul> <p>This role is ideal for a highly organized individual with strong technical skills who enjoys interacting with people and can efficiently manage multiple administrative re</p>
