They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. On this team, you're a big-picture thinker and strategic team-player with a passion for doing what's right. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed - with urgency. And you take pride in knowing that every day you are working hard to promote trust in Google and ensuring the highest levels of user safety. In joining the Search team, you'll have an opportunity to make an impact on billions of people globally.</p> <p>The US base salary range for this full-time position is $160,000-$237,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Initiate and lead projects to protect Google Search users from abuse, inappropriate content and fraud through investigation, prevention and removal of quality issues. </li><li>Troubleshoot issues and product vulnerabilities to implement large-scale quality improvements. Analyze and identify new abuse trends. Develop insights and recommendations to enable effective and systematic solutions. </li><li>Work across several of Search features which involves personalization and find commonalities and abuse patterns. </li><li>Develop and communicate strategy and goals focusing on user trust and safety issues in Search. Manage responsibilities effectively across multiple product areas. Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Product, Policy, Legal, Engineering teams and other teams within Trust and Safety to execute solutions. </li><li>Work directly with other members of your team to prevent complex abuse issues. Apply and share best practices on product or system knowledge. </li></ul>
