Orlando Health | Choose Well Position Summary Leads, manages, and coordinates Heart & Vascular programs and activities to include those that are systemwide and that support regional services and strategies or as assigned by the service line or OHMG leadership. <em>Cardiology experience preferred </em>This is for the structural Heart Program Orlando Health offers a great benefits package that includes: Medical, Dental, Vison 403(b) Retirment Savings Plan Health Savings Account (HSA) Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Paid Time Off (Up to 5 weeks to start) Life Insurance Extended Leave Plan (ELP) Family Care (child care, elder care, pet care) Paid Parental Leave Pet Insurance Car Insurance 100% PAID Tuition as well as tuition reimbursment & monthly payments to help pay down any graduated school debt ALL benefits start day one Responsibilities Essential Functions • Leads, manages, coordinates, and participates in a variety of program management, data analytics, proforma and business activities related to clinical programs and/or strategic and operational initiatives as directed. • Engages physicians, advanced practice providers, team members and leadership to support activities and solutions as assigned. • Assures alignment of programs and activities to organizational and service line goals and objectives. • Collaborates with leadership on initiatives designed to support Orlando Health Medical Group and the Cardiology service line. • As needed or requested, facilitates effective workgroups, forums, committees to promote effective decision-making toward strategic and operational goals and objectives. • Develops plans consistent with the overall strategic goals of the service line, particularly as they relate to the achievement of quality outcomes, learning outcomes, and regulatory requirements. • Facilitates and supports a professional environment in which teams are empowered to provide input and share ideas that support the advancement of clinical programs and growth. • Engages in innovative program management that supports improvement in the work environment for providers and team members while positively impacting patient outcomes. • Under the direction of physician leaders, assesses clinical programs and identifies gaps and timelines to execute strategic and tactical initiatives. • Supports the overall efforts toward achieving program metrics that will elevate service line growth and outcomes. • Incorporates the best evidence through effective research and data analytics that can be applied in the decision-making process for service line specific goals and objectives. • Maintain strong collaborative relationships with physicians, organizational leaders, industry leaders and representatives in the healthcare environment. • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards. • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures. Other Related Functions • Serves as a representative on Orlando Health councils and committees as assigned. • Knowledge of educational program development. Qualifications Education/Training Master of Science in healthcare related field or Master of Business Administration (MBA) required. Licensure/Certification None.
