They are a liaison between Lagunitas and our community, promoting the retail business through guest experiences.</p> <ul> <li>Schedule - Seasonal, part time, varied hours </li></ul> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Greet and manage aspects of on-site brewery tours which includes all bus groups, and both private and daily tours </li><li>Lead walking tour groups through designated tour area, relaying historical, educational, and interesting brewery and beer industry facts </li><li>Describe tour groups points of interest to group members and respond to questions from group </li><li>Greet and socialize with patrons when not conducting tours </li><li>Work Amphitheater shows and Taproom events (signage display, set up, take down, ticket booth, security, crowd control) to facilitate a successful event </li><li>Support Guest Experience Manager in executing special events to drive traffic to the taproom </li><li>Ensure clear communication of all safety rules and regulations to any tour attendees </li><li>Clean up and set up of tour locations. Stocking and Restocking. </li><li>Supports Guest Experience Lead in private event booking and day-of execution </li><li>Friday-Sunday work week, with other days required based on events </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>What We're Lookin' For</p> <ul> <li>Prior experience as a Tour Guide is desired </li><li>Passion for Lagunitas and the beer business </li><li>General knowledge of craft beer is desired </li><li>Outgoing/High energy, enjoys high level of public interaction </li><li>Outgoing personality, positive attitude and strong verbal communication skills </li><li>Able to demonstrate integrity, mature judgment in handling all matters </li><li>Ability to problem solve and work independently in a changing environment </li><li>Enjoys working in a team and collaborative environment </li><li>Willing to work flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, holidays and overtime </li><li>Ability to understand and work well with on-site event producers </li><li>Experience and proficiency in public speaking </li><li>Responsible Beverage Server and Certified Food Server Certifications required within the first 60 days </li></ul> <p>Key Relationships</p> <ul> <li>Reports directly to Senior Guest Experience Manager </li><li>Works with Taproom staff to coordinate overlap with on-site retail events. </li></ul> <p>Physical Stuff</p> <ul> <li>Requires moderate physical efforts: carrying, bending, stretching, stooping, pulling and pushing. </li><li>Able to stand, walk for long periods of time. </li><li>Ability to use a computer keyboard and calculator. </li><li>Work environment is primarily indoors within a restaurant and production environment and may involve noise and temperature changes </li></ul> <p>Come as You Are</p> <p>At Lagunitas, we welcome people (and dogs) from all walks of life.
