<ul> <li>Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with team members, residents, family members, visitors and the general public. </li><li>Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle some challenging situations. </li><li>Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating programs. </li><li>Work closely with team members to support resident programs. </li><li>Chaperone resident outings and make suggestions for appropriateness for participation. </li><li>Ability to assess emergency situations. </li><li>Responsible for conducting programs, including socials, movies, entertainment, games, (i.e. card games, board games, spiritual, lectures, discussions, sensory groups, etc. as appropriate. </li><li>Support programs with audio-visual technical needs. </li><li>Performs administrative requirements, making posters and signs for upcoming events, copying, stuffing mailboxes or placing flyers on resident doors. </li><li>Responsible for handing out appropriate calendars to AL, MC & IL residents monthly. </li><li>Share responsibility for interviewing residents to obtain past and present likes, interests and recreation information. </li><li>Assume responsibility and accountability for group activities daily. </li><li>Completes all assignments and documentation as requested in a timely manner. </li><li>Attention to detail for accurate and professional material for development and programming a must. </li></ul>
