Performs visual inspections, checks fluid levels, lubricates, and cleans parts, tightens, and adjusts components, replaces parts, calibrates sensors and gauges. </li><li>Visually inspects and performs complex tests on equipment. </li><li>Listens for unusual sounds to detect malfunctions and diagnose problems and/or repair machine. </li><li>Dismantles, inspects, and replaces defective parts. Conducts thorough inspections to identify underlying issues and troubleshoots complex problems. </li><li>Performs complex layouts, assemblies, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and repairs or replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment. </li><li>Installs and repairs complex electrical apparatus such as transformers and wiring. </li><li>Maintains and repairs the physical structure of the establishment. </li><li>Installs complex machinery, platforms, guards. </li><li>Mentors junior technicians. </li><li>Promotes, complies, and ensures operations and company safety procedures and practices are followed by less senior colleagues. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Typically possesses High School diploma (or equivalent) and 4 or more years of experience. </li></ul> <p>At Greif, your work has purpose, colleagues care about your well-being, and you have the opportunity to grow and thrive. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between $23.99 to $40.82. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. If the competitive wage is equal in both fields, the starting rate is the same for all applicants that apply for this role. The starting rate is not representative of future compensation increases.
