<p>Job Title</p> <p>QC Inspector, Chemistry</p> <p>FLSA</p> <p>Non-Exempt</p> <p>Summary</p> <p>The QC Inspector performs routine inspection and testing of components in accordance with Standard Procedures and specifications as required by production scheduling. In addition the QA inspector samples water, logs, tests, and enters results in LIMS. In performing the above duties, the individual is responsible for accurately and clearly documenting test results in accordance with cGMPs. Performs general laboratory housekeeping and prepares glassware for laboratory use. Provide assistance to Quality Lab Associates as needed.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Performs routine inspection and testing of components, such as glassware, labels, and boxes. </li><li>Performs duties in support of the day-to-day functions of the QC Chemistry Laboratory. This includes but not limited to routine analysis on water samples, instrumental analysis, (Conductivity meter, Osmometer, etc.) and other various laboratory methods. </li><li>Responsible for glassware cleaning and general lab cleanliness. </li><li>Interfaces with LIMS, as required, for sample login and data entry. </li><li>Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by a lab supervisor/manager. Responsible for completion of work as assigned. </li><li>Accurately and clearly documents inspection and test results in accordance to department and site SOPs. </li><li>Stores lab supplies and reagents and conducts physical inventories. </li><li>Maintains laboratory notebooks, data files, good housekeeping, and safe working conditions. </li><li>Perform other duties to support production or validation as determined by Chemistry supervisor. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Possesses basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and can use a calculator. </li><li>Familiar with cGMPs, CFR and the USP. </li><li>Demonstrates good attention to detail and accuracy. </li><li>Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task and perform work in a timely manner. </li><li>Demonstrates ability to work in a team environment with good communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with peers, department management and production personnel. </li><li>Knowledge of computer systems at a level proficient to navigate input and/or reference computerized data. </li><li>Must have sound judgment and basic analytical skills to enable assessment of risk to issues related to monitoring of the manufacturing floor. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <ul> <li>Ability to walk distances of 1-3 miles per day. </li><li>Good manual dexterity to repetitively manipulate syringes, vials, stoppers, etc. </li><li>Ability to lift up to 45 pounds. </li></ul> <p>Education and/or Experience</p> <p>Bachelors degree in Science or equivalent with 0-2 year applicable laboratory, pharmaceutical manufacturing or related experience preferred.</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Cherry Hill, NJ, US, 08003</p> <p>Nearest Major Market: Philadelphia</p>
