<p>This is a non-merit position. Candidates must follow the instructions in the "To Apply" section. Positions in this class are exempt from the screening and referral requirements of the Iowa Department of Administrative Services - Human Resources Enterprise.</p> <p>Only applicants who meet the Minimum Qualification Requirements and meet all selective requirements (listed below) will be placed on the eligible list. </p> <p>The Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is seeking to fill a Procurement Attorney (Attorney 2) position on its Labor and Legal Services Team. This position reports to the DAS General Counsel Supervisor. </p> <p>The successful candidate will primarily assist DAS's Central Procurement and Fleet Enterprise. This position will focus on State procurement-related legal issues, such as requests for bid/proposal/information, general and specific terms and conditions for goods and services contracts, vendor exceptions, statutory and regulatory compliance and open records matters. This position will also liaise with the Attorney General's Office regarding procurement-related legal issues. </p> <p>This position will also be required to provide legal support in areas outside of procurement-related legal matters as necessary.</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <p>At the State of Iowa, we are committed to your well-being.
