<p>About The Opportunity</p> <p>Avenue Code is seeking an experienced Product Designer that is motivated by working on complex data workflows, taking ownership and offering significant impacts to the final product. You will help shape the development of internal tools for one of the world's top Big Tech companies. This is a hybrid role based out of the San Francisco Bay Area.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>As a Product Designer, you will conduct research, prototype, and design high fidelity mock ups for web and mobile applications. You will work with a set of priorities and manage multiple projects at once, with a team of Engineers, Product Managers, QAs and other Product Designers to build best in class web and mobile applications in an agile development process.</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience with a focus on product design and UI for application with complex interactions </li><li>Technical acumen and experience designing for complex problems and tools </li><li>Planned and conducted multiple user interviews, with examples of different method of research </li><li>Ability to use risk assessment to justify need to do user research </li><li>A tendency to self-direct and lean on your own prioritization methods to get your work done </li><li>Highly skilled in Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Invision, and other design tools (primarily Sketch) </li><li>Experience designing, building, maintaining and implementing design systems </li><li>Very detail oriented, both on the final design specifications and feature documentations </li></ul> <p>Nice To Have Skills</p> <ul> <li>Ability to prototype in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, AfterEffects, or other tools </li><li>Have conducted accessibility audits </li><li>Understand basic finance terms, supply and demand </li><li>Experience with data visualization libraries such as D3js </li><li>Understanding of data organization/data modeling </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Media Arts, or similar </li></ul> <p>Avenue Code discloses salary range information based on our commitment to fairness and transparency. At Avenue Code, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
