Final compensation is based on factors such as the skills, qualifications, and experience.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate days activities </li><li>Ability to solve problems </li><li>Responsible for the setup of the playing field </li><li>Enforce established rules for the sport and age divisions assigned </li><li>Recognize and eliminate potential hazards from the playing area before and during games. </li><li>Actively monitor program area to ensure safe use of facilities and equipment by all parties including participants, coaches, parents and guests. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills to serve a diverse community. </li><li>High School Diploma </li><li>Minimum two seasons experience as a player or official for sports assigned. </li><li>Knowledge of rules and protocols for sports assigned. </li><li>Current CPR/AED/First Aid certifications or must be able to obtain within 30 days of hire </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Multi-lingual skills </li><li>Prior knowledge/experience in the game of basketball and or soccer. </li></ul> <p>The YMCA of Delaware is an equal opportunity employer.
