Over the past 224 years, The Post has evolved into a multi-platform media company spanning print, digital, video, audio, app, television and commerce.</p> <p>The New York Post is the nation's oldest newspaper with the youngest, most ambitious video department. We want to make our mark in digital video and create memorable work and new watching habits among our audience. The legacy of the great headlines conveys the attributes of our videos: bold, irreverent, judgmental, confident and clever. We want to make videos that surprise viewers. We seek someone who believes news doesn't have to be boring to be news and who appreciates serious and quirky stories. Let's talk!</p> <p>We are seeking a part-time Page Six Video Studio Intern to join our video department this fall. The ideal candidate has a strong passion for news and pop culture and can contribute to creating engaging, savvy, and informative digital-native video content. This is a hands-on opportunity to work in both studio and field production environments, gaining valuable experience in all aspects of video production.</p> <p>Note: This internship is scheduled to run from September 15th, 2025, to November 21st, 2025. Participants are expected to work part time hours and adhere to our on-site work schedule. This position must be able to report into our office located in Midtown Manhattan.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in studio operations, including set creation, setup, and breakdown. </li><li>Support field operations, including logistics, location agreements, and production needs. </li><li>Operate a second camera during shoots. </li><li>Assist with teleprompter operation during studio recordings. </li><li>Provide general support during field shoots, including equipment handling and setup. </li><li>Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth execution of video shoots. </li><li>Assist with both field and office production tasks as needed. </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For:</p> <ul> <li>Interest in working in online news environment </li><li>Working knowledge of Macs and Mac Operating Systems </li><li>Knowledge of camera operations </li><li>Ideally simple editing skills </li><li>Must enjoy working collaboratively and accurately; attention to detail a must </li></ul> <p>As an equal opportunity employer, the New York Post does not discriminate in hiring or the terms and conditions of employment because of an individual's race, color, religion, national origin, age, disability, gender, sexual orientation, citizenship or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
