<p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Hauling tankers of caprolactam and wash water both within the plant and between local AdvanSix Plants </li><li>Handling of Shipping Documents </li><li>Maintaining accurate inspection logs </li><li>Performing pre-trip inspections </li><li>Performing post-trip inspections </li><li>Spotting loaded and empty trailers </li><li>Driving designated routes as assigned </li><li>This position works a 12-hour rotating shift </li><li>Other work duties will be assigned as needed Basic Requirements: </li><li>High School diploma or equivalent required </li><li>2+ years verifiable tractor trailer (semi) over the road driving experience </li><li>Must have a valid Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement Additional Qualifications: </li><li>No license suspensions, revocations, DUI, or drug violations or reckless operation violations preferred </li><li>No more than one chargeable/preventable accident in the last 5 years preferred </li><li>No more than 3 moving violations in the last 5 years preferred </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with all those involved in the delivery process preferred </li><li>3 Years of tanker experience preferred </li><li>Drive in a team setting preferred </li><li>Basic computer skills preferred Physical Requirements: </li><li>Required to work on uneven and sometimes slippery surfaces and in adverse weather conditions (cold, hot, humid, rain, snow, etc.) </li><li>Ability to lift and move objects that weigh up to 50 lbs., and exert up to 75 pounds pull </li><li>Ability to work at elevated heights - greater than 50 feet The hourly rate for this position is $34.85 </li></ul>
