<p>The Uxbridge Public Schools is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide specialized instruction and support to students with intellectual impairments (II). The successful candidate will foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic, social, and emotional growth in accordance with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Essential responsibilities for this position include: Deliver individualized instruction aligned with students' IEP goals.</p> <p>Adapt general education curriculum to meet the needs of students with intellectual impairments.</p> <p>Develop and implement lesson plans using evidence-based practices.</p> <p>Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to provide inclusive educational experiences.</p> <p>Assess student progress regularly and maintain accurate documentation.</p> <p>Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and parent conferences.</p> <p>Support students in developing life skills, functional academics, and appropriate behavior.</p> <p>Create a safe, nurturing, and structured classroom environment.</p>
