<p>Position Title</p> <p>Cardiology Transporter</p> <p>Liberty Hospital</p> <p>Position Summary / Career Interest:</p> <p>Transports patients to and from the Cardiology department according to patient-specific needs. Assisting staff in basic care needs. Assists in preparing the patient for procedures including positioning the patient and room and/or equipment preparation.</p> <p>Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions</p> <ul> <li>Assist and accompany patients to/from Cardiology department </li><li>Assist patient care staff with basic care needs </li><li>Positions, lifts, and turns patients, as needed, in preparation for care </li><li>Prepares the room and/or equipment for use </li><li>Assists in the use of bedpan, urinal, or commode </li><li>Utilizes, cleans, and maintains supplies including stocking rooms </li><li>Ensures confidentiality of patient information </li><li>Assist hooking up and prepping patients for stress echocardiograms </li><li>Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department. </li><li>These statements are intended to describe the essential functions of the job and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities.
