However, applications will continue to be accepted until position is filled.</p> <p>STARTING SALARY: $14.00 - $17.00/Hour</p> <p>STATUS: Seasonal (non-benefitted, 6 months or less); 25 hours per week.</p> <p>DEPARTMENT: Parks and Recreation</p> <p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Experience in job related activities, including working with children preferred; must be at least 16 years of age. CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Knowledge of games, sports, arts and crafts, storytelling and music; correct English usage, spelling and vocabulary. Great responsibility for the care, condition and use of materials, equipment, money, tools, etc. Communicate effectively verbally and in writing; establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and the public; contacts requiring tact and judgment to avoid friction and obtain desired result; outside contact with public presenting information. English literacy skills to care for children and respond to emergencies. Regular use of a copy machine and telephone; occasional use of a personal computer.
