<p>09/244/2026</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>Under the general supervision of the Youth Camp Site Supervisor and Youth Programs and Day Care Coordinator, organizes and supervises youth programs and participants.</p> <p>See Full Job Description</p> <p>CLOSING DATE: Open until filled. The department will begin reviewing applications on April 20, 2026. Position may close at any time after this date. However, applications will continue to be accepted until position is filled.</p> <p>STARTING SALARY: $14.00 - $17.00/Hour</p> <p>STATUS: Seasonal (non-benefitted, 6 months or less); 25 hours per week.</p> <p>DEPARTMENT: Parks and Recreation</p> <p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Experience in job related activities, including working with children preferred; must be at least 16 years of age. CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Knowledge of games, sports, arts and crafts, storytelling and music; correct English usage, spelling and vocabulary. Great responsibility for the care, condition and use of materials, equipment, money, tools, etc. Communicate effectively verbally and in writing; establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and the public; contacts requiring tact and judgment to avoid friction and obtain desired result; outside contact with public presenting information. English literacy skills to care for children and respond to emergencies. Regular use of a copy machine and telephone; occasional use of a personal computer. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.</p> <p>Note: Applications may only be submitted online.
