<p>General Function</p> <p>The Talent Experience Partner is a strategic and creative contributor to the Organizational & Leadership Development team, responsible for cultivating a vibrant and inclusive employee experience from Day One. This role leads orientation and onboarding efforts, facilitates Employee Engagement networks, designs engagement initiatives, and partners across the college to activate a culture of belonging, growth, and purpose. With a focus on advancing organizational culture, the coordinator ensures that every employee's touchpoint reflects the college's values and strategic priorities.</p> <p>Applicants are encouraged to apply promptly, as this posting may be taken down before the listed closing date once adequate candidate interest has been reached.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ol> <li>Strategic Experience Design </li></ol> <ul> <li>Leads the design and continuous improvement of the employee lifecycle experience using design thinking and employee journey mapping </li><li>In partnership with the Human Resources department, aligns engagement strategies with institutional goals, especially those focused on culture transformation, belonging, and employee well-being </li><li>Supports a consistent needs assessment/analysis in conjunction with an annual employee engagement survey to determine supports for optimal employee engagement practices; analyzes engagement data to identify trends, inform strategy, and report on progress toward People Plan goals and objectives </li><li>In coordination with the O.N.E. program, develops personalized onboarding pathways tailored to roles, departments, and individual aspirations </li></ul> <ol start="2"> <li>Orientation & Onboarding Leadership </li></ol> <ul> <li>Spearheads the planning and facilitation of O.N.E. reflecting the college's mission, values, and culture </li><li>Collaborates with Human Resources, hiring managers, facilities, and department leaders to ensure onboarding and orientation is seamless, inclusive, and impactful </li><li>Evaluates O.N.E.'s effectiveness through feedback, data, and iterates for continuous improvement </li></ul> <ol start="3"> <li>Culture Activation & Engagement Programming </li></ol> <ul> <li>Designs and implements engagement initiatives that foster connection, recognition, and a sense of belonging for all employees </li><li>Facilitates micro-events, pop-up learning experiences, and virtual engagement formats to meet diverse employee needs </li></ul> <ol start="4"> <li>Training & Facilitation </li></ol> <ul> <li>Delivers occasional workshops or learning sessions focused on communication, collaboration, and workplace culture </li><li>Supports leadership development efforts by embedding engagement and culture-building principles into programming </li></ul> <ol start="5"> <li>Cross-Functional Collaboration </li></ol> <ul> <li>Serves as a connector across departments to ensure alignment and consistency in employee experience efforts </li><li>Partners with Human Resources and CMPR to amplify engagement initiatives </li><li>Advises supervisors and leaders on strategies to enhance team engagement and culture </li></ul> <ol start="6"> <li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ol> <p>Minimum Requirements and Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in organizational development, Human Resources, Education, or related field </li><li>3+ years of experience in employee engagement, talent development, or culture-building roles </li><li>Strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills </li><li>Experience designing and implementing engagement programs </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree </li><li>Experience in higher education or mission-driven organizations </li><li>Familiarity with employee lifecycle models, design thinking, and engagement frameworks </li><li>Knowledge of adult learning principles </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Worker Characteristics:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of principles of employee lifecycle (preboarding through retention) </li><li>Fundamentals of design thinking and employee journey mapping </li><li>Adult learning theory and facilitation skills </li><li>Understanding of data literacy, analysis, and synthesis </li><li>Communication skills including the ability to build compelling narratives that will connect employees to Central Piedmont's mission, vision, and impact </li><li>Technical and business acumen </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <p>Typical Office environment.</p>
