<p>Job Summary:</p> <p>Digital Video Associate Producer II is tasked with the ideation, production, and creation of trending video and social content on ESPN-branded digital and social channels both domestically and globally. This role may have some oversight responsibilities on a semi-regular basis including creating daily assignments, communicating real-time engagement metrics and planning distribution with internal partners. This role requires a strong knowledge of social media content creation via non-linear editing software. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to recognize high-level engagement opportunities to further ESPN's industry-leading video offerings across any and all platforms. Additionally, the Digital Video Associate Producer II will be asked to semi-regularly represent the Digital Video team during planning meetings with both internal and external partners.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Become a subject matter expert on all ESPN platforms (From TikTok to TV) and apply that expertise to expand reach, engagement, and distribution of content. </li><li>Ideate and execute new video and social content ideas designed to engage and retain ESPN's audience both on and off platform and create new revenue opportunities across all digital and social platforms. </li><li>Act as content lead for the Digital Video Creative team - leading by example with high-level work, and clear content direction. </li><li>Participate with internal teams domestically and globally on the creation and distribution of content that best activates new audiences and maximize reach with current ones. </li><li>Analyze usage and performance metrics that can lead to content enhancements and improvements. </li><li>Effectively manage production timelines to ensure projects are executed on time. </li><li>Maintain proficiency and knowledge in latest trends, technology and best practices for digital video content on ESPN platforms including TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and others. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 1 year of combined media experience, preferably with a focus on digital and social media. </li><li>Advanced non-linear editing skills (Quantel, Final Cut, Avid, Premiere, After Effects, etc.). </li><li>High-level understanding of Adobe suite of products (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects). </li><li>Examples of creating consistent, high-performing creative content. </li><li>Strong base of current sports knowledge, including teams, players and storylines. </li><li>Understand and follow closely the latest in social media trends and applying that knowledge to create improved performance of content. </li><li>Excellent writing skills; an understanding of optimal tactics for content distribution. </li><li>Strong understanding of core characteristics of "viral" content. </li><li>Ability to work quickly and juggle multiple varied tasks during a typical workday. </li><li>Strong presentation skills. </li></ul> <p>Required Education:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or Equivalent </li></ul> <p>Preferred Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <ul> <li>Flexibility to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, holidays and overnight hours </li></ul> <p>#ESPNMedia</p>
