You'll provide crucial pre- and post-operative care, manage clinic flow, handle inpatient needs, and oversee wound care to ensure excellent patient outcomes.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Pre & post-op assessments for cosmetic & reconstructive surgery patients.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in consultations & treatment planning; educate patients.</p> </li><li> <p>Support surgical planning & coordinate pre-surgery steps.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage post-surgical complications with surgeons.</p> </li><li> <p>Document care in Epic EMR.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate care with other specialties (oncology, dermatology, etc.).</p> </li><li> <p>Educate patients/families on procedures, post-op & wound care, scar management.</p> </li><li> <p>Inpatient evaluation & management of complex wounds.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in quality improvement, research (as applicable).</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Current licensure as an APP in Massachusetts</p> </li><li> <p>MA Prescriptive Authority (controlled substances) & DEA registration.</p> </li><li> <p>2+ years APP experience preferred; surgical, wound care, or plastic surgery experience a plus.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent communication, critical thinking, time management, & interpersonal skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently & collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.</p> </li></ul> <p>Why Lahey?</p> <p>We value diversity and are committed to an inclusive and equitable work environment.
