<p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Senior Power BI Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of advanced business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Power BI, strong data modeling skills, and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights for stakeholders at all levels. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on expertise in transforming data into impactful dashboards and reports that support decision-making across the organization.</p> <p>Essential Functions and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Design, develop, and deploy scalable Power BI solutions (reports, dashboards, data models, and datasets) to empower user at all levels of the organization monitor and highlight contributing factors to financial and operational results and variances. </li><li>Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions. </li><li>Optimize Power BI dashboards for performance, usability, and data accuracy. </li><li>Integrate Power BI with various data sources including SQL Server, Excel, Azure, SharePoint, and cloud services. </li><li>Mentor junior developers and contribute to BI strategy and roadmap. </li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and report discrepancies. </li><li>Document technical specifications and maintain version control. </li><li>Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to ensure alignment and data integrity. </li><li>Collaborate with senior leadership to identify business intelligence needs and opportunities. </li><li>Work closely with cross-functional teams, to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights. </li></ul> <p>Education and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field. Master's degree is a plus. </li><li>5+ years of experience in BI development, with at least 3 years focused on Power BI. </li><li>Expertise in SQL, DAX, Power Query (M), and advanced data modeling techniques. </li><li>Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server). </li><li>Experience with Microsoft Azure services (Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake) is a plus. </li><li>Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology and version control (e.g., Git, DevOps). </li><li>Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. </li><li>Power BI Premium and Power BI Service administration. </li><li>Experience integrating Power BI with Dynamics 365 or other ERP systems. </li><li>Familiarity with tools like Power Automate, Paginated Reports, and R/Python for data analysis. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions</p> <ul> <li>Hybrid working environment. </li><li>Available after business hours to troubleshoot as needed or provide system maintenance. </li><li>Travel to other sites as necessary. </li></ul>
