With expertise across various applications, we deliver high-precision components and complete products tailored to exceed customer expectations.</p> <p>SUMMARY:</p> <p>Responsible for the assembly of a wide variety of assemblies and subassemblies to produce a quality product for our customer.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Observe all safety rules and regulations including wearing and maintaining personal protective equipment. </li><li>Maintain work area in a clean and safe condition. </li><li>Operates equipment in a safe manner. </li><li>Participate as a member of work teams. </li><li>Assist in measuring team performance for safety, quality, delivery, and cost. </li><li>Work with team members, other business functions, customers and suppliers to continually improve these measures. </li><li>Participates in Level 3 activities such as scrap and rework elimination projects along with various other kaizen events. </li><li>Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products </li><li>Perform microscope inspection on assembled parts </li><li>Maintain inventory of product in workstations </li><li>Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards </li><li>Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified </li><li>Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures. </li><li>Attends required training programs. Performs 5s activities. </li><li>Assist in the training of other associates in procedures and use of equipment. </li><li>Ability to read and use various inspection equipment and precision tools and understand and apply basic inspection and sound measurement practices. Basic knowledge of Level 3 principles. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>HS Graduate of Equivalent i.e. GED </li><li>At least 6 months' work experience in a manufacturing environment </li><li>Ability to remain productive under indirect supervision and follow verbal and written instructions and techniques </li><li>Basic mathematical aptitude required </li></ul> <p>CERTIFICATION/TRAINING REQUIRED:</p> <ul> <li>Up to 6 weeks of on the job training to become familiar and confident with essential duties </li><li>GMP Training </li><li>General Orientation </li><li>Annual Safety training programs (Hearing Conservation, etc.) </li><li>Quality System Awareness Training </li></ul> <p>Compensation</p> <p>Employee Type: Hourly</p> <p>Salary Minimum: $35,000</p> <p>Salary Maximum: $40,000</p> <p>Incentive: No</p> <p>Disclaimer: Where a specific pay range is noted, it is a good faith estimate at the time of this posting.
