<p>Job#: 3036773</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Buyer - Buyer II</p> <p>Location: North Reading, Massachusetts (Onsite)</p> <p>Compensation: $23 - $33 Hourly</p> <p>Role Overview</p> <p>We are seeking a candidate for a Buyer position. This role involves purchasing materials, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring material availability. The successful candidate will be organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Purchasing materials and equipment, including electro-mechanical assemblies, electronic components, and PCB assemblies. </li><li>Managing supplier relationships and key performance indicators. </li><li>Providing inputs for monthly scorecards and presenting procurement data during business reviews. </li><li>Planning material requirements and managing inventory levels and schedules in the ERP system. </li><li>Identifying and monitoring supply chain risks and communicating mitigation strategies. </li><li>Developing mechanisms for monitoring and updating open purchase orders and delivery requirements. </li><li>Assisting the Global Commodity Management team with supplier performance and new product development. </li><li>Resolving purchase order receiving errors and assisting with invoice reconciliation. </li><li>Managing supplier returns, including non-conformance reports and return material authorizations. </li><li>Identifying and leading process improvement initiatives. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>Experience: Experience in purchasing, supplier management, and material planning is required.</p> <p>Technical Skills: Proficiency with computer applications such as Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint is necessary.
