In short, we build solutions that set the benchmark for steam utilization worldwide.</p> <p>Temp to hire</p> <p>Onsite M-F 8:00am - 4:30pm</p> <p>1101 Carolina Pines Dr, Blythewood, SC 29016</p> <p>Required Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Basic Hand Tool </li><li>Forklift certified </li><li>Job Order Packing / Organizing/ inventory optimization </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Overhead crane experience </li></ul> <p>Essential Functions/Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Accept materials based on purchase orders and/or invoices, input inventory receipts into the ERP system, and store materials in designated physical inventory locations or supplier Kanban locations as needed. </li><li>Pull and stage materials for standard or custom project work orders and replenishment Kanbans. </li><li>Ready finished goods for dispatch, verifying accuracy in backflushing records, pick, pack, and ship activities in the ERP system, and secure packaging to safeguard products during transportation. </li><li>Support logistics by contacting freight companies for quotes and scheduling pickups to meet OTTR objectives. </li><li>Perform inventory cycle counts and ensure inventory levels remain within required minimum and maximum levels. </li><li>Prepare and process shipping records, including bills of lading, and track shipment data. </li><li>Collaborate with 6S, SQDIP, and PDCA panels to align with important metrics and monthly objectives. </li><li>Be accountable and responsible for all safety and environmental compliance related to the position. Demonstrate knowledge of general safety, security, and environmental regulations. </li></ul> <p>Education/Experience/Skills:</p> <ul> <li>High school graduate or equivalent </li><li>2 to 3 years of experience in shipping and receiving in a manufacturing environment. </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Basic computer skills with the ability to quickly learn industry-specific software. </li></ul> <p>Certifications:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to become certified to operate walk-behind and forklift equipment, including counterbalance and hoists. </li></ul> <p>About Us</p> <p>Steam Thermal Solutions is one of four businesses within Spirax Group, with global coverage across 67 operating units.
