<p>Assists patients with performing activities of daily living.</p> <p>Provides or assists with providing direct patient care, diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions.</p> <p>Observes and records patient behavior and activities. Reports any changes in physical, mental or emotional condition to nursing staff and suggests modifications to the treatment plan.</p> <p>Provides crisis intervention with incoming calls and on the unit to maintain safety.</p> <p>Facilitates psychoeducational groups.</p> <p>Minimum Education</p> <p>High School diploma or equivalent preferred.</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Psychology, Counseling or related field preferred.</p> <p>Minimum Work Experience</p> <p>Six months of experience working with population served OR</p> <p>Peer Support Specialist Training OR</p> <p>Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)*</p> <p>Required Skills</p> <p>Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
