You will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our pharmacy operations.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Verify prescription orders for accuracy and completeness. </li><li>Contact prescribers for clarification on medication orders as needed. </li><li>Dispense medications, ensuring correct drug, dosage, and instructions. </li><li>Complete insurance authorizations and manage denials. </li><li>Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information. </li><li>Supervise pharmacy staff and ensure compliance with all regulations. </li><li>Support pharmacy safety, security, and adherence to company policies. </li><li>Serve as supervising pharmacist in the absence of the Pharmacist-In-Charge. </li><li>Participate in business development activities as needed. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Pharmacy skills </li><li>Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy </li><li>Successful completion of state pharmacy board examination </li><li>Current and active Ohio and Kentucky pharmacist license (KY license can be pending but must be pursued) </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This position operates on a Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 30 hours per week on the 1st shift. The pharmacy is open from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
