<p>Responsible for nursing functions, providing patient care, and performing limited medical obstetrical ultrasounds at Prestonwood Pregnancy Center - Southwest ("PPC-SW").</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Work with clinic staff and volunteers to coordinate patient flow </li><li>Perform limited medical screening and pregnancy tests </li><li>Perform limited obstetrical ultrasounds accordance with standing delegated orders </li><li>Complete initial patient assessments </li><li>Assist with patient/family education and instruct patients as directed </li><li>Maintain patient documentation according to clinic protocol </li><li>Document and report test results </li><li>Assist with follow up of patient's medical conditions and test results </li><li>Collect and run lab tests </li><li>Incorporate principals of safety in all clinical operations </li><li>Demonstrate safe use of equipment related to patient care </li><li>Maintain infection control measures with all patient contact </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of a Bible believing and preaching ministry </li><li>Pro-life in word and pro-love in action </li><li>Possess and maintain current RN license </li><li>Possess or be willing to obtain sonography training </li><li>Comply with state and professional licensing and continuing education requirements </li><li>Excellent communication skills, bilingual in English and Spanish a plus </li><li>High level of confidentiality </li><li>Experience working with volunteers a plus </li><li>Commitment to continued professional development especially in the areas of obstetrics, gynecology and women's health issues </li><li>Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office products </li><li>Availability to work at least 2 evenings per week and every other Saturday </li><li>Possess current driver license, personal vehicle insurance and a clear driving record for clearance to drive PPC mobile unit as needed </li><li>Willingness to serve at other PPC locations as needed </li><li>Current Texas Driver License and clean MVR record </li><li>Ability to operate the mobile sonogram unit and cover shifts at the Richardson location as needed </li><li>Able to perform physical activities that require moving one's whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting, pushing/pulling a cart, and use of stairs, and ability to lift up to 10 lbs. without assistance </li></ul>
