Our organization embraces innovation, collaboration, and work-life harmony.</p> <p>DESKTOP SUPPORT SPECIALIST</p> <p>Location: West Salem Clinic | 1233 Edgewater St. NW, Salem OR 97304 (Not a Remote Position)</p> <p>Job Status: Full-time</p> <p>Hours: Monday-Thursday, 7am - 6pm</p> <p>We are hiring a hands-on Desktop Support Specialist who loves to solve problems, support people, and keep devices running smoothly across our sites.</p> <p>POSITION OVERVIEW:</p> <p>The Desktop Support Specialist provides frontline technical support across the organization. This role ensures reliable day-to-day technology operations by supporting staff with hardware, software, and system issues while delivering responsive, high-quality service. The position plays a key role in maintaining the technology systems that support patient care and business operations.</p> <p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provide in-person and remote technical support to staff across multiple locations.</p> </li><li> <p>Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues for desktops, laptops, printers, phones, and peripherals.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including equipment provisioning, workstation setup, and system access management, to ensure a secure and seamless user experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Install, configure, and maintain end-user devices and applications</p> </li><li> <p>Manage and resolve help desk tickets with clear communication and timely follow-up</p> </li><li> <p>Support meeting technology, including A/V equipment and conferencing tools</p> </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>1+ year of experience in IT support, help desk, or desktop support role </li><li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills </li><li>Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical users </li><li>Working knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and basic networking </li><li>Experience with ticketing systems and managing support requests </li><li>Valid Oregon driver's license and proof of insurance </li></ul> <p>SUMMARY OF BENEFITS: Our Agency strives to provide a benefits program that is comprehensive and competitive within our industry.</p> <ul> <li>Healthcare insurance plans: Medical, Dental, Vision </li><li>Group Life: Short-Term & Long-Term Disability 100% paid by employer </li><li>403(b) retirement plan with 2% of employer contribution and up to 3% employer match </li><li>Flex Spending Account </li><li>PTO - 10 hours a month for FT positions 40 hrs./wk. up to 20 hours monthly as your tenure grows </li><li>7 ½ Paid Holidays a year + 2 paid floating holidays for full-time positions </li><li>Continuing Education & Training Benefits </li><li>Employee Healthy Living Program - Gym Membership & Smoking Cessation </li></ul> <p>Why Join NWHS?</p> <p>At NWHS, your work matters! ?Join a mission-driven organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of underserved and resilient communities.
