<p>Akkodis is seeking a Technical Lead for a Contract with a client in Boston MA(Hybrid). The ideal candidate will guide full-stack teams in building high-quality microservices and oversee integrations using Kafka and REST/gRPC patterns.</p> <p>Rate Range: $41/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.</p> <p>Technical Lead job responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead end-to-end development of distributed applications using Java Spring Boot microservices and modern front-end technologies such as React.js.</p> </li><li> <p>Architect scalable, high-performance systems by implementing event-driven solutions with Kafka, gRPC, Socket.IO, and REST APIs.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee cloud-native infrastructure on AWS, managing Kubernetes clusters, networking components, security configurations, and Terraform-based IaC.</p> </li><li> <p>Guide CI/CD strategy using GitHub Cloud, CircleCI, and Argo CD to deliver reliable, automated deployment pipelines across environments.</p> </li><li> <p>Mentor and support cross-functional development teams across backend, frontend, and mobile stacks, conducting code reviews and enforcing engineering best practices.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical designs and architectural roadmaps.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field (master's preferred).</p> </li><li> <p>10+ years in software engineering, including 2-3 years in a technical leadership role.</p> </li><li> <p>Deep hands-on expertise with Java Spring Boot microservices and front-end development using React.js (plus familiarity with Node.js/React Native).</p> </li><li> <p>Proven experience operating cloud-native systems on AWS (Kubernetes, VPC, IAM, ELB) with Terraform-based IaC and mature CI/CD (GitHub Cloud, CircleCI, Argo CD).</p> </li></ul> <p>If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
