<p>Position Type:</p> <p>Athletics/Activities/Football Coach</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>12/13/2024</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>SALEM HIGH SCHOOL</p> <p>Closing Date:</p> <p>Until filled</p> <p>District:</p> <p>&nbsp Plymouth-Canton Community Schools&nbsp&nbspAdditional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>POSITION: VARSITY FOOTBALL COACH</p> <p>Salem High School</p> <p>Three Positions available: Varsity Football Assistant Defensive Back Coach</p> <p>Varsity Football Assistant Receiver Coach</p> <p>Varsity Football Assistant Running Back Coach</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ol> <li> <p>High school graduate or equivalent</p> </li><li> <p>Applicants must have experience in high school level coaching or playing at college or university level in sport to which they are applying.</p> </li><li> <p>Applicant must have a time schedule compatible with that of the high school.</p> </li><li> <p>CPR and/or first aide training preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated ability to work with parents and children.</p> </li></ol> <p>REPORTS TO: Assistant Principal of Activities and Athletics</p> <p>RATE OF PAY: According to the Master Agreement - Schedule "B"</p> <p>BEGINNING DATE: Fall 2025/26</p> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Coach will be responsible for the entire organization of sport assigned. </li><li>Coach will be directly responsible for all equipment. A complete inventory of all equipment will be filed with the athletic director at the end of each season. </li><li>Coach will be responsible for all awards presented in sport and a season summary </li><li>Requires off-season time commitment, including staff meetings, conditioning, fundraisers and summer camps. </li><li>Bending, lifting, and overhead work required. </li><li>Performs other tasks as assigned. </li></ul> <p>This description is intended to describe the essential job functions, the general supplemental functions and the essential requirements for the performance of this job.
