<p>Job Title: Robot Technician</p> <p>1st shift</p> <p>Starting pay: $32 an hour</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Reporting to the Shift Maintenance Supervisor and supported by the Robotics Engineer, the Robotic Technician Level I ensures proper operation and repair of robotic automation in a foundry/casting environment.</p> <p>Responsibility</p> <ul> <li>Provide general ABB robot troubleshooting. </li><li>Adjust robot positions to meet quality requirements. </li><li>Replace robot cabling as needed. </li><li>Perform Preventative maintenance on robot and controller. </li><li>Perform Preventative maintenance on EOAT's including testing function. </li><li>Identify opportunities to improve uptime and reduce costs through understanding downtime and implementation of preventative solutions for long term success. </li><li>Observe and practices all applicable lockout/tagout requirements during all activities. </li><li>Understands robotic and cell safety. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Academic/Educational Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>1 years' Robotic Tech experience in a manufacturing setting. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills/Experience</p> <ul> <li>Prior robot programming experience is required. </li><li>Must be self-motivated with an ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot. </li><li>Must be able to read and understand work instructions. </li><li>Ability to communicate with all levels within plant. </li><li>Must possess mechanical, electrical and computer. </li></ul> <p>What Linamar Has to Offer</p> <ul> <li>Competitive Compensation </li><li>Employee Benefits package includes but not limited to, Drug, Dental & Vision etc. </li><li>Opportunities for career advancement. </li><li>Sustainability Counsel </li><li>Community based outreach supporting both local and global initiatives and charities. </li><li>Discounts for local vendors and events, including auto supplier discounts. </li></ul> <p>About Us</p> <p>Linamar Corporation is a Canadian-founded global manufacturer, renowned for its advanced engineering and innovative product development across diverse industries and markets.
