<p>Job Responsibilities</p> <p>Teach courses such as composition, developmental English, and literature, as assigned.</p> <p>Ability to teach developmental and transfer-level English courses in multiple instructional formats, including face-to-face, hybrid, and online modalities.</p> <p>Commitment to teaching excellence and student success and an ability to work with academically and culturally diverse student populations.</p> <p>Develop and maintain course materials, syllabi, assignments, assessments, and instructional content aligned with course outcomes.</p> <p>Understanding of equitable and inclusive teaching practices. Utilize institutional learning management systems (LMS) and other instructional technologies to deliver course content, facilitate student engagement, and assess learning outcomes.</p> <p>Maintain accurate and timely course records, including attendance, grades, and academic progress, in accordance with college policies and deadlines.</p> <p>Process student enrollment actions such as Add/Drop and withdrawals in alignment with institutional procedures and academic calendars.</p> <p>Submit midterm and final grades by established deadlines and ensure grade accuracy and compliance with academic standards.</p> <p>Communicate regularly and effectively with students through College adopted platforms.</p> <p>Initiate and respond to student alerts and early intervention notifications to support student retention and success.</p> <p>Monitor student performance and provide timely feedback, referrals, and academic support resources as needed.</p> <p>Participate in training and ongoing professional development related to instructional technology, advising tools, and student success systems.</p> <p>Collaborate with faculty and staffto promote student persistence and completion.</p> <p>Adhere to all institutional policies, procedures, and compliance requirements related to instructional delivery and student data management.</p> <p>Serve on College committees and participate in College Community Days.</p> <p>Perform other duties as assigned.</p> <p>Minimum and Additional Requirements</p> <p>Master's Degree with 18 graduate hours in English.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Teaching experience preferred.</p>
