Apply today!</p> <p>You will need to provide your own hand tools, UPMC will provide power tools and specialty tools.</p> <p>Final candidate will be hired into appropriate job title and salary based on experience and education.</p> <p>Pay range for this position is $20.70-$32.58</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform general maintenance work and tasks as directed with minimal supervision. </li><li>Exhibit a basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, hardware repairs, and mechanical equipment and systems including basic HVAC. </li><li>Exhibit basic knowledge of computers and various technology tools. </li><li>Assist with and maintain general cleaning duties on equipment and in mechanical support areas. </li><li>Perform specific preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment. </li><li>Perform all work following infection control procedures. </li><li>Maintain clean and safe work area, equipment rooms and shop areas. </li><li>Perform any maintenance work required in which skills can be utilized. </li><li>Ability to work in extreme weather conditions. </li><li>Assist in snow removal. </li><li>Minor preventive maintenance of chillers, boilers and cooling towers. </li><li>Filter changes in air handlers, terminal devices and fan coils. </li><li>Clean coils and equipment. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>General Maintenance 1</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent is required. </li><li>Completion of a trade school program is preferred. </li><li>One year of general maintenance-related work experience is preferred. </li></ul> <p>General Maintenance 2</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school diploma or equivalent is required.</p> </li><li> <p>Two years general maintenance-related work experience</p> </li><li> <p>OR completion of a trade school required.</p> </li><li> <p>Military experience considered</p> </li></ul> <p>Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:</p> <ul> <li>Driver's License </li><li>Act 34 </li></ul> <p>UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran</p>
