<p>Scope of Work</p> <p>The Career Development Coordinator will provide administrative support and coordination to ensure the successful execution of the Gaylor Electric apprenticeship program.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Execute work related to supporting a successful apprenticeship program and providing administrative support for all aspects of the apprenticeship program at all locations. </li><li>Organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines. </li><li>Maintain accurate reports on apprentices' completion of training and classroom hours. </li><li>Organize and maintain schedules, agendas, and travel arrangements as needed. </li><li>Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure program success. </li><li>Become a trusted "sounding board" and encouraging voice for Gaylor team members. </li><li>Travel within and out of state to fulfill job responsibilities. </li><li>Provide training for the apprenticeship program. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience in an administrative support role, preferably within an educational or corporate environment. </li><li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. </li><li>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and courteous demeanor. </li><li>Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality. </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact effectively with diverse stakeholders. </li><li>Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing priorities and deadlines. </li><li>A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to take the initiative when necessary. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in business administration, education, or a related field is preferred but not required. </li><li>Strong proficiency with Microsoft, specifically Excel is required. Ability to learn Gaylor specific technology. </li><li>Bilingual Spanish and English written and oral communication is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. </li><li>Understanding of apprenticeship and internship programs or previous experience with training and/or education. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>This position is primarily office-based, with occasional requirements for off-site meetings or events. </li><li>Regular working hours may vary based on program schedules and departmental needs. </li><li>The role may involve some lifting and carrying of materials or equipment related to program activities. </li></ul>
