<p>Safely operate, repair, rebuild and perform maintenance on Company owned or leased heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment including rolling stock to ensure its ability to operate safely</p> <p>Benefits: Why choose GFL(Team Green)?</p> <ul> <li>3 weeks of PTO annually </li><li>Health, Vision, Dental Insurance </li><li>401k, and 401k matching </li><li>Paid Holidays </li><li>And several other benefits </li></ul> <p>Job Description</p> <ul> <li>Diagnose equipment/engines with company supplied service tools </li><li>Engine, mechanical, electrical, A/C and hydraulic work performed on equipment </li><li>Preventative maintenance on all equipment as needed </li><li>Detailed communication with service coordinator on results of diagnoses and detailed parts list </li><li>Maintain clean and organized work area, including putting away all tools and cleaned bays at the end of the shift </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>The Service Technician confidently should have:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 2-5 years of heavy-duty truck experience </li><li>Motivated and able to work well with others </li><li>MI State Mechanic certificate </li><li>Valid Chauffeur's driver's license </li><li>Experience using CAT-ET, Cummins insite or similar diagnostic tool, preferred </li><li>Automotive repair, preferred </li><li>Mig or tig welding, preferred </li><li>High school diploma or vocational college degree, preferred </li><li>Heavy duty diesel repair </li><li>Welding technology </li></ul> <p>#GFLTalent</p> <p>We thank you for your interest.
